Qiraa Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Qiraa, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Qiraa provides:

• Audio-based identification of Qur'an recitations and Hadith.
• AI-powered chatbot for general Islamic knowledge.
• Optional monthly supporter donations that provide enhanced access, including reduced rate limits.

The App is intended for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a source of religious rulings (fatwa) and should not be considered a substitute for scholarly advice.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Qiraa only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Misuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the App.
• Upload harmful or offensive content.
• Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of Qiraa is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

By using Qiraa, you acknowledge that:

• Your data is processed securely and not shared with third parties, except as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Withdrawing consent to the Privacy Policy will result in immediate account deletion.
• The AI chatbot processes conversations in real-time but does not store them permanently.
• The App uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication and remembering preferences, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

6. AI Limitations and Disclaimer

The AI chatbot provides general Islamic information based on publicly available knowledge and trained data. It:

• Is not a source of official religious rulings.
• May occasionally provide inaccurate or incomplete responses.
• Should be used for learning and exploration only.

For authoritative guidance, consult qualified Islamic scholars.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, and software related to Qiraa are owned by Qiraa or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the App without written permission.

8. Donations & Supporter Benefits

Qiraa offers users the option to provide a voluntary monthly donation of £2 or more to support operations.

As a token of appreciation, supporters who contribute at least £2/month receive enhanced access, including reduced rate limits. These donations:

• Are voluntary and non-refundable.
• Do not constitute a purchase or subscription.
• May be used to support operations, expand the service, or be donated to registered charitable causes.
• Do not guarantee uninterrupted or permanent benefits, which may change at Qiraa's discretion.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the App, or engage in harmful behavior.

10. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Qiraa after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

Qiraa is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
